Bürkle North America to Exhibit at Intersolar North America 2013
Bürkle North America will be exhibiting at Intersolar North America 2013 in Booth 8633, July 9-11, Moscone Center San Francisco, Calif. Attendees are invited to visit with us to learn about our latest developments for PV Module lamination, assembly and coating technology.
The Proprietary SL lamination Process is a revolutionary technology used for the production of crystalline solar modules and is characterized by:
- Up to 100 % capacity increase
- 50 % space requirements reduction
- 50 % process time reduction
Our two product lines, the e.a.sy Lam single-level laminator and the Ypsator multi-level laminator have been redesigned for the SL process. Going forward, both are available in the “SL” version with the ability to run the new SL process in addition to the standard lamination processes.
As a step-up from standard glass-backsheet lamination, Bürkle has further sophisticated the lamination process for crystalline silicon glass-glass laminates. This proprietary process and machine design help our customers to cope with the challenges of glass-glass lamination, with technical solutions such as:
- 3-step lamination process to shorten cycle time
- Final lamination with flat press to avoid “edge pinch” effect
- Symmetrical heating and cooling to minimize module bow & induced stress
Bürkle’s 90 years of coating experience is the key to our success with the application of ultrathin liquid Anti-reflective (AR) coating materials utilizing our Roller Coating and Drying System. The Roller Coating process, unlike spray coating, deposits a consistent and uniform layer of material in high volume production environments across the module.
