Ralf Spindler, Managing Director Burkle GmbH, announced at the recent Photovoltaic Conference and Exhibition in Milan, Italy, Burkle’s new PV Lamination System for Photovoltaic Modules. Two systems were introduced; one a single daylight PV Lamination System with a useful area of 2,3 x 4,4 m and the other a Multi daylight lamination system for high volume production which processes 2 modules per opening or per customer’s demand, when needed.

Spindler noted that, “Burkle has a long history of laminating complex products. We bring to this market over 80 years of experience and process knowledge, which suits Burkle well as an entrant into this fast growing business. Our fundamental design concept was to provide a high volume capability with a lamination system that provided a very high level of process control, a broad process window and predictable repeatable production over a wide range of applications”.
