Punching - Die Cutting
Fully Automatic Punching of Non-ISO Cards

The KS 104 PE ‘Perfo' is a highly flexible card punch capable of punching ISO (CR80) cards plus a wide range of other shapes and card designs. Using a two stage principle, one stage for punch holes & scores and another for punching the outer shape of the card from the sheet tooling and set-up costs are kept to a minimum.

The KS 104 PE represents the latest in card punching technology. Designed and built to the highest standards providing card manufacturers with high speed, precision and reliable production. Sheets are loaded onto trolley and loaded into machine. Individual sheets are fed and accurately aligned to print marks in the longitude direction. Once registered the sheet is fed under the first punch station where each individual row of cards is registered and punched with the required holes/scores, the sheet is then transported to the second punch station where the shape is punched from the sheet. In the instance of punching ISO (CR80) cards the first punch station is de-activated. The waste skeleton is ejected and punched cards are loaded into a 5 magazine in/out buffer to a conveyor unit for non-ISO (CR80) sized cards.

Running speeds using 3 x 7 sheet format up to 20,000 cards per hour assuming ISO cards.
